At this time I am meeting with patients as usual by continuing to see patients in my office, and am also available to meet by phone or video conference, (using my Simple Practice platform, Psychology Today Sessions, or Doxy.Me).   All standard office policies apply. If you would like to meet by phone or video conference, please reach out to me prior to our scheduled appointment by phone or text (720-350-1109) and I will make arrangements.

I am staying alert to updates from The Centers for Disease Control and other resources and will adjust services and my response as is indicated. In my office, I am following procedures recommended by The Centers for Disease Control, including routinely cleaning surfaces.

What YOU can do: If you are sick, stay home, rest and get better. • Avoid close contact with people who are sick. • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue, then throw the tissue in the trash. If a tissue is not available, use the crook of your elbow to cover your cough. • Wash your hands often with soap and water for at least 20 seconds, especially after going to the bathroom; before eating; and after blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing. • If soap and water are not readily available, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer with at least 60% alcohol. Always wash hands with soap and water if hands are visibly dirty. • Avoid touching your eyes, nose, and mouth. • Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces using regular household cleaning spray or wipe. • If you think that you may have coronavirus or other symptoms, contact your health care provider.

Also, 1. refer to trusted sites for information, including https://www.cdc.gov. 2. Make decisions based on concrete information, not emotions. 3. Implement your decisions. 4. Then focus on good practices for physical and emotional well being, including exercise, meditation, and relaxation practices, interactions with family and friends (even if those interactions are primarily by phone, and on-line), enjoyable activities, and normal daily tasks and routines to the extent possible. 5. Please also reach out to others who are in a higher risk demographic to ensure that they are managing well, and have what they need to get by.

Please reach out to me if I can be of assistance during this challenging time.
